Courses
Approximately 9 months at College and 18 months with host employer

Career Opportunities include: Trade Tested Artisans, Technician, Engineering Assistant, Maintenance Artisan, Training
Welding
Approximately 3 months at college and 9 months with host employer per year for 3 years Career Opportunities
Recognition of Prior Learning
Recognition of prior learning (RPL) is a process whereby people’s prior learning can be formally recognized towards a registered qualification
University of Technology WIL
The WIL program is a 12 months experiential course and forms part of a final year towards a Diploma in Engineering

Further Education and Training in Leadership Development
The Exit Level Outcomes contained in this qualification are based on competencies required for people dealing with integrated development planning in a municipal context
Certificate: Municipal Financial Management
The qualification serves to provide the opportunity for new and existing public sector employees to gain financial management competencies.
National Diploma: Public Finance Management and Administration
The exit level learning outcomes highlight many of the public finance management and administration skills required within the public sector.
Foundational Learning Competence (FLC)
(FLC) gives you access to all Occupational certificates. If you don’t have a pass in Matric Mathematics or English or if have not done mathematics then the FLC will help obtain the requirements to enter any of the engineering qualifications such as Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation etc
DEPARTMENT OF SKILLS PROGRAMS AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOMENT
Wireman's License Single & Three Phase
Test, Inspect and complete a certificate of compliance for a single-phase domestic installation.
